OUTER BODYLAPSE (2010) looks at the whole body in a similar manner to BODYLAPSE. My whole body is performing in relation to it's surroundings. Beverly Gordon (1996) in Women’s Domestic Body states that in the period between 1875 and 1925 “women and interiors were like one another – ...transformed into a synonym. The women were seen as an embodiment of the home, and in turn the home was seen as an extension of her – an extension of both her corporeal and spiritual self.”
This film highlights the relationship between the body and it's environment, both react to one-another.
